Termiverse keeps these devices connected through a lightweight agent — an always-running Windows service — so you can access them unattended at any time: outbound, encrypted, without inbound ports and around the clock. That saves the effort of site-wide VPNs and reaches even individual devices nobody else looks after.
Industrial PCs, tills and digital signage are often spread across many locations — in stores, factory floors or shop windows, usually with nobody in front of them. Classic remote access fails here on several counts: the devices sit behind firewalls and NAT with no fixed IP, a VPN would have to be set up and maintained for every site, and sending someone on-site for every bit of maintenance costs time and money. If a device stalls at night or on the weekend, nobody notices — and outside opening hours there is nobody there to switch a powered-off machine on or confirm a remote session. Each of these hurdles costs time, ties up staff and delays updates that are actually urgent.
You generate an enrollment token and distribute the preconfigured agent EXE to your devices — manually, via software deployment or group policy. The agent runs as a Windows service and connects outbound, with no manual server configuration. Once rolled out, it stays active in the background and checks back in on its own after every reboot.
All devices appear in the grid, sorted by location or group. A reachability status shows at a glance which machines are online — you find the one you need through filters and groups in seconds. Newly rolled-out devices appear automatically as soon as their agent makes contact for the first time.
If a device is powered off, you wake it via Wake-on-LAN through the tunnel of a neighbouring device. Then you start a terminal or remote desktop — encrypted over TLS and documented in the audit log.

The administrator opens Termiverse, wakes the tills of one store after another via Wake-on-LAN through the tunnel of an always-on signage player, applies the update over the remote desktop and checks in the terminal that everything runs cleanly. To finish, the optional backup add-on secures the relevant device files before the tills are shut down again. If a till ever fails to answer the wake call, monitoring flags it as offline at once. By morning every store is up to date — nobody had to be on-site, and every step is in the audit log.
